Mixer’s co-op streaming is for the pros, not dabblers like me

Interesting. Personally, we don't think Mixer should try to stand apart from Twitch and YouTube. Our thought is that it would be better for Mixer to take them head on. Do exactly what they are doing. But underpin is all with the hardware and OS strengths that Microsoft can bring to the table. In short, make Mixer 'more endemic' and battle it out. The market is young enough for just this kind of challenger to break for the finish line.

VR startups go into cockroach mode to survive barren consumer market

Much of our team are OG ( Oldschool Gamers ) and we remember the VR frenzy of the late 1980's. That frenzy saw the birth of the game industry we know today. With the pivotal launch of a little game names DOOM. There are a lot of similarities between then and now. We see AR as the probable winner of this new frenzy. Everyone is just awaiting that breakout AR app that will leapfrog virtual reality once again.

A very insightful article asserting that playing "video games is now a viable career option for elite players". Which we, completely, agree with. However, for the future, we see this viability spreading FAR beyond 'elite players'.
